Hi I’m Catherine and I am the proud owner of Beauty By Catherine.

For almost 15 years I worked in offices in a variety of roles moving my way up career ladders, not really knowing what my calling was or where I wanted to end up. All I knew was that I enjoyed helping people and solving problems for them.

I always had an interest in beauty, looking after myself and enjoyed being pampered when I could. So one rainy day in the office it suddenly came to me, why don’t I help people to feel good all the time?! Why don’t I train specifically to be someone people want to go to to indulge, relax and enjoy that bit of ‘me’ time everyone craves?!
Life is just too short to not be pursuing something you enjoy, a passion, a dream. That’s where my journey really began.

Qualified in level 2 and level 3 beauty therapy, and also level 4 laser and intense pulsed light treatments, my aim is to give the best experience and results I can for everyone.

I personally love an aromatherapy massage, specifically with the L’aroma Orange Essential Oil. This is such a relaxing scent and treatment, and you can fully re-charge, giving your mind a well earned rest from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
Or, I also treat myself to a unique set of Gelish Soft Gel tips, fit for any occasion, for that extra splash of colour!

With my salon being in the grounds of my house, you may also be greeted by our little female Beagle, Biscuit. She’s incredibly friendly, typical Beagle – always wants a fuss (or food!), however, if you are unsure of dogs, please do let me know in advance and I will ensure she is kept away during your time at the salon.

Biscuit, my husband and I are often out exploring new walks through the local countryside – it’s amazing how much of the country we would miss if Biscuit didn’t demand her marathons each day!
When not in the salon or exploring new places to visit, you can often find me, riding horses, cycling or socialising with friends.
